We are looking for a full-time Senior UX Designer to support our team remotely or in our Vienna office. If you think puns like "UX designers never get lost … they have impeccable navigational skills" are funny, then this job posting might be right for you.
You know Figma like your favorite song (who knows what the back of their hand is like?!)
You have that special feel for design
Strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in user-centered design, including wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs
Experience with user research techniques and usability testing
Solid understanding of information architecture, interaction design, and visual design principles
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Knowledge of accessibility best practices and guidelines
You have an opinion and are happy to share it
You have work experience as a UX designer
We love experiments and learning new stuff. You'll have a yearly budget to buy books, check out online courses or attend conferences.
Every week half of the team gets the Friday day off. So every other week you either work or train the new skateboard trick.
Yes, we still have an office in Vienna and there is free beer, a foosball table, and a dog to pet. As part of Residence you also have the option to work from other offices like New York, LA or Sydney.
That's right, everyone who has been with us at least a year gets to share in our success!
Besides all of this remote stuff, Vienna is still the most liveable city in the world. So if you fell in love with Vienna and our space (who wouldn't) we'll help you with a flight, accommodation for the first week of your arrival, help with the Visa and find you some new best friends.
We are a Virtual First company, so you choose where you work from. To support your adventures in Paraguay, Italy or Fiji or just your wifi costs at home, you’ll receive a remote work bonus.
Annual retreats (like this), monthly activities, cake wednesdays, and who knows what else.
You'll work with an extremely talented team like Edo or Simone
You conduct user research and gather insights to inform the design process
You create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to visualize and communicate design concepts
You design user interfaces that are visually appealing, functional, and consistent
You collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless and cohesive user experience
You conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on user feedback
You stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX design
We’d love to hear from you. Tell us about your journey, your favorite projects, what excites you about design and your number one tv show.
